    I have always loved flowers and painting floral works in Holbein watercolour is a sheer delight! There is always a source of fresh flowers close at hand in our garden for inspiration.
Breathing the heady fragrance of  fresh roses  while absorbed in painting their many intricacies, the impossibly delicate petals of poppies which are simply made for watercolour, while even the humble daisy can be an exciting challenge in watercolour.
