Classes cover all the basics of drawing, tone, colour mixing, innovation, mark making, perspective and so much more. Be inspiried to explore, try new ideas with enthusiastic and friendly fellow artists.....we have FUN!Classes are on a casual basis, so no need to book a block of classes you may not be able to attend when life gets in the way! Please email me before you decide to join us for the first time. I send out a weekly email with all the info on what we will be painting, creating and exploring during class. Attached to the email will be a reference image, please print off A4 size bring with you to work from. What to Bring to Class: Just bring whatever you usually create with on the first day for the first class, see what we all use and recommend and go from there. Where- 6 Spata lane Canning Vale When- Every Thursday Time- 9.30 am -12noon or 1pm-3.30pm.....arrive a little earlier to be set up and ready to go on time. My 11th annual Open Studio event will be even bigger and better this year!
I will be joined by guest artist
Grecian Sandwell and her exquisite 3D 'Tiny Treasures'.....a definite must see

Kel Scott with his 'Handcrafted in Wood', beautiful West Australian timbers in a variety of formats.
I have my latest works for you to view.....lots of trees this year plus a few other surprises! Devonshire Teas will be available all day, choose a spot in the shady garden to sit, enjoy and relax.
On Sunday 9th from 10.30-1.30 there will be a plein art event, open to all artists using watercolour or pen n wash, on paper, sketchbook or canvas., come and watch as artists work their magic!

Judging at 2pm and a 1st prize valued at over $200 to be won!

SEPTEMBER - I have been invited to tutor two workshops 18th- 22nd September 2025 in beautiful, tropical Cairns during the Australian Watercolour Muster. TRIPLE TREAT WORKSHOP
I have run the Triple Treat Workshop , a fun 3 day event in my garden studio, held every year for 11 years and it is still going strong! We will cover three different subjects in depth over 3 different days.
Day 1.-Landscapes - Who doesn't love a great landscape!
Day 2. Florals - Let's paint wet-in-wet loose, gorgeous and colourful blooms!
Day3.- Portraits- Ever wanted to paint a loved one, an intriguing face or just want to know where to start? Join us for this super popular day!
