I am always drawn

to figurative works using Holbein watercolour.
The human face and form are not unlike a landscape to me as  both are shaped by the effects of the elements and time.
From the  subtle nuances  of a child to the aged face of a  mature adult, the human face is endlessly fascinating .....and each one has a story to tell.
I love the mapping out  and seeing the story unfold as I put brush to paper.
