La nature, qu'il s'agisse d'un paysage, d'une fleur exquise ou d'un visage intéressant, est au centre de mon travail.
J'aime les vastes horizons et les grands espaces de le paysage australien, la clarté unique de notre des paysages baignés de lumière, dégagés de toute trace d'industrie.
Les fleurs sont un irrésistible sujet car ils sont sûrement la façon dont la nature décore notre vie quotidienne, ces couleurs vibrantes et ces formes exquises qui m'attirent.
Les visages intriguent. J'aime le processus tandis que la peinture se déroule au fur et à mesure que je pose le pinceau sur le papier ou la toile. En regardant les œuvres figuratives évoluer, la cartographie du visage est pour moi si similaire à la peinture d'un paysage, car les deux ont été façonnés par les éléments et le temps.
J'invite le spectateur à se connecter avec ma vision du monde naturel sous la forme de paysages, de fleurs et d'œuvres figuratives.
