August 2019. The Watermill Tuscany.......please see details below!

Jude has been invited to tutor at two workshosp in Posara, Tuscany in Italy in the last two weeks of August 2019. This wonderful painting holiday takes place at The Watermill, a beautifully restored 400 year old watermill owned by Bill and Lois Breckon.

Below is some information from The Watermill website-

"Painting holidays in Italy"

The Watermill at Posara is a complex of elegant and historic Tuscan buildings, surrounding a sunny courtyard with an adjoining vine verandah, rose pergola and sun-filled walled garden. More gardens lead to walks along the river and the sun-dappled millstream.

For centuries artists have drawn their inspiration from the Tuscan landscape and you couldn't find a better place than the watermill to enjoy your painting holiday and improve your skills. Our relaxing, inspiring and fun-filled painting courses with hand-picked internationally renowned tutors are designed to help both experienced painters and beginners to release their talent and most of all, enjoy their painting. We offer courses in watercolours, oils, pastels, acrylics and other media. The courses run from Saturday to Saturday and we usually spend the first day or so painting around the mill, followed by excursions to the hills (olive groves and mountain views), to the medieval walls of Fivizzano and the castle and village of Verrucola. There's also a visit to the walled city of Lucca or the fishing villages of the Cinque Terre.

Each of our painting holidays at The Watermill at Posara, Tuscany, enjoys SEVEN nights at the watermill, with full board. We should emphasise that absolutely EVERYTHING is included in the cost of your holiday: tuition, accommodation (including all linen and towels), pre-dinner aperitifs, all meals (including delicious meals with wine prepared specially for you at the mill, and at charming local restaurants) and local transportation (including transfers to Pisa airport; an excursion by train to Lucca or the Cinque Terre). All you have to do is get to Pisa and we do the rest!"
